Whilst NLN student backgrounds are diverse, ranging from those with no formal education, to university students, they all share common threads – the need for personalised training and individualised supports.
NLN provides nationally accredited education and training services to a broad spectrum of people aged 16 or older including individuals:
- With a disability
- Who are neurodivergent including autistic people
- With a general or specific learning disability
- Who have had an accident or injury
- With long term illnesses impacting their daily lives
- Experiencing anxiety/depression or other mental health challenges
- Who have left school early
- Who have the desire to return to learning or get back into employment
- Who need specialist additional supports to engage in education, training or work
We will support you through the application process.
All applications to NLN must be approved by the Department of Social Protection, the local Education and Training Board (ETB) and / or the Health Service Executive (HSE).
Applications for HSE funded training must be aged 18 or over.
